The Treasurer is a key officer of the Board of the Merrick-Moore Community Development Corporation, entrusted with the organization's financial stewardship. This individual is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability. The Treasurer operates in strict compliance with North Carolina (NC) state and federal regulations, safeguarding the fiscal health and integrity of the Merrick-Moore Community Development Corporation.
Skills and Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting, preferably in a nonprofit or public sector setting.
• Knowledge of NC state laws and federal guidelines governing nonprofits.
