What We Do

Our mission is to promote an inclusive community by creating a nurturing space for children and families to learn and discuss contemporary issues through storytime.

We have developed a curriculum of carefully chosen books, activities, music, and crafts for young children, typically aged 0 to 8. Some of our topics include bullying versus positive behavior, differently-abled people, family structures, gender identity, immigrant and refugee rights, LGBTQIA people, racial equality, religion and spirituality, healthy choices and our bodies, women and girls, and environmental issues. Research suggests prejudices may form at a much earlier age than previously thought, sometimes as young as three years old. Our primary goal is to educate ourselves and our children to build stronger and safer communities. We know that the stories we hear in childhood have the power to revolutionize our lives.
