Who We Are

The National Foundation of Transplants (NFT) raises money for patients who register and require a transplant. In this case, I, Sylvia Hiller am helping the Family of Glen Newhart of Durham to hold a fundraiser in his honor for a heart transplant.

What We Do

A Cycling Fundraiser Saturday, August 25, 2018 will take place at the Activities Center of Cane Creek Baptist Church which is ~ 9 miles outside of Carrboro, NC and officially in Hillsborough.  {6176 Orange Grove Rd.}

Cyclists will ride 35, 65, 80 or 103 miles starting at 8 am - 5 pm. The ride also benefits Multiple Sclerosis (MS) as well as the NFT. They will be able to stop along the way at rest stops and come back for lunch when done.

We need volunteers for;

  • Registration 6:30 am - 9 am
  • Parking 6:30 am - 8:30 am
  • Rest Stops (downtown Hillsborough, Activities Center, Saxapahaw and Siler City) (Variety of Time Slots; Suggest what works for you if you like)
  • Clean Up

Volunteers will get a t-shirt and water bottle
