Who We Are
Welcome to Chapel Hill Durham Korean School
Chapel Hill Durham Korean School was founded on November in 1990 by Korean immigrants and students. Our school has been developed in quality as well as in quantity, thanks to continuous support and dedication from our Korean community. It started at the church facility first, then moved to UNC-CH in 1996, and finally settled down at UNC Murphey Hall since 2005. Our school is recruiting and hiring qualified and certified teachers and supporting teachers with up-to-date audiovisual equipment and teaching funds. Many high school students, who can speak both Korean and English fluently, are volunteering as teacher assistants and earning their service learning credits for their services. Chapel Hill Durham Korean School will do its best to be an educational and cultural hub to the Korean communities in Chapel Hill and Durham areas. Thank you.
