Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary

Beautiful Together was founded in 2014 with a focus on supporting children waiting for families by improving the lives of those growing up in orphanages, group homes and the foster care system via tangible projects and funds. Over time, we repeatedly witnessed the incredible therapeutic connection that children make with animals. And research backs up what many pet owners already know: children connect with animals for comfort, reassurance and emotional support, especially when experiencing fear, loneliness, sadness or stress. In 2020, we announced a new initiative that powerfully connects these meaningful efforts: The Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary, a safe and nurturing environment for animals in need of refuge. In addition to rescuing homeless animals, a major charter of this sanctuary is creating ongoing programs for children in foster care, group homes and at-risk situations to connect with the animals, help care for them and spend time in “pet therapy” sessions: bottle feeding kittens, socializing puppies, brushing horses – and so much more. Our goal is simple: To connect the vulnerable and the voiceless in purposeful ways that benefit us all

Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters. By working with an established network of foster caregivers, volunteers, trainers, and animal shelters, Beautiful Together will rescue thousands of animals every year. We provide these animals with comprehensive care and temporary homes with caregivers while we work to find them an approved adopter. If foster caregivers are not available, we will care for them at our sanctuary while we work to find them loving homes. If we are unable to find them homes, we will continue to care for them for the rest of their lives.
