Many organizations do not have enough time or resources to invest in developing robust volunteer on-boarding and tracking systems to increase volunteer retention and organizational effectiveness. Activities will depend on the partner agency's needs but may include creating or updating a Volunteer Handbook, formalizing a volunteer orientation process, updating or digitizing a volunteer scheduling process, updating or digitizing a volunteer intake process, and updating or digitizing a volunteer hour tracking process.
