StandUp SpeakOut of North Carolina

StandUp~SpeakOut of North Carolina (S.U.S.O) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting awareness and prevention by supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Our mission is to advocate for individuals we serve by providing direct support and therapeutic services through Art Therapy for children and teens who are victims or witnesses to domestic violence and sexual abuse.  

StandUp SpeakOut of NC operates from 4 key program components that include; education, advocacy, awareness, and prevention. Our services include; support groups, mentoring, case management, professional development & advocacy training, art therapy, and parenting classes (learning to parent a child after abuse).
